Jamie Butterworth [S]

Exploring Art with Ms. Jamie offers in-person classes in Burbank, California, and live online classes to students everywhere. This class is designed for kindergarten-8th graders, with each child creating at their own level while gaining a strong foundation in visual arts. Classes are based on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. We often look at the work of different artists and various art forms and create in different styles. We'll use a variety of materials over the course of the semester/year such as watercolor, oil pastel, pencil, textiles, markers and tempera paint and practice skills from cutting and gluing to shading, proper brush handling, print-making, and weaving.
