Upcoming Homeschool Day at the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum!

Wednesday, Oct. 11, is a free homeschool day at the Tar Pits Museum. Come learn about camels, giant sloths, and of course…mammoths! Spend this homeschool day with the biggest mammals of the Ice Age. We explore what life was like for these amazing herbivores in Pleistocene Los Angeles, and how their fossils give us clues about survival and extinction. As always, these days are exclusive to homeschoolers, so you won’t be sharing the museum with traditional school groups. No prior reservations are required. The best part? Museum admission and all special homeschool day programs are free for all homeschoolers! For more information, visit their website.
