Curriculum Corner – Critical Thinking Co.

Here are some of the past subjects covered:

“If we teach children everything we know, their knowledge is limited to ours. If we teach children to think, their knowledge is limitless.”
– Michael Baker, President of The Critical Thinking Co.

The Critical Thinking Company has a variety of materials that will empower learners to think.

Mind Benders are engaging, deductive reasoning puzzles. Mind Benders start easy for primary learners and increase in their challenge level for high school and adult learners.

The Building Thinking Skills books are filled with activities in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. All of the lessons are designed to teach learners how to think. These books are appropriate for second through twelfth grades.

With Math Detective books, learners use math and critical thinking skills to solve short math stories. These challenges are designed for third through eighth grade learners.

Science Detective, Reading Detective , Writing Detective , and World History Detective books are also available.

On the Critical Thinking Company website you can search by grade, subject and type of product. Check it out and find something to challenge your learner’s thinking skills!
