Camp PBL: Wildlife Haven: Designing a Sanctuary for Our Furry, Feathered, and Aquatic Friends (Grades K/1st) – Session 2

During this PBL opportunity, learners in grades K-1 will step into the shoes of zoo designers as they research different zoo animals and their habitats. They will explore the importance of creating suitable enclosures to mimic the natural habitats of these animals.

Learners will immerse themselves in researching various zoo animals, their behaviors, diets, and habitat requirements. They will ask questions such as “What do different animals need to thrive in captivity?” and “How can we build enclosures that promote animal welfare?”
