Chinese American Museum
January 23 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This guided tour of the Chinese American Museum will explore the culturally-rich history, culture, and contributions of Chinese Americans in the context of an ever dynamic continuum of American history and culture. Following the tour of the museum, learners will participate in a hand-on lantern building workshop. Lanterns are very symbolic in the Chinese culture, as they represent a “lighting of the way,” literally and metaphorically.
Tickets are $10 and will become available Dec 3 at 10am. Learner funds may be used to purchase learner tickets only for this event. Parent/sibling tickets must be purchased using a credit card.
This field trip is for iLEAD learners and their family only. No refunds available after purchase.
