International Printing Museum Constitutional Convention and Gallery Tour (5th Grade and Up)
February 19 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
This is a tour of the International Printing Museum Gallery, followed by a reenactment of the American Constitutional Convention where learners in the audience travel back in time. Divided into 13 state delegations, students debate the issues that faced the Founding Fathers: representation, taxation, election and the vexing question of slavery by reading the script provided for them. This field trip is interactive and involves audience members (adults and learners) becoming delegates and reading out loud at the convention. Learners should be at 5th grade reading level or above to participate. Younger siblings are welcome, but due to the nature of this field trip, babies and toddlers are asked not to attend. Families are welcome to picnic on the lawn outside afterwards on their own, or there are many restaurants nearby. Free parking is located in front and on the side of the museum.
This field trip is for iLead learners and families only. No refunds available after purchase.
*Ticket sales for this event will close on Jan 29th at 5pm OR when tickets sell out.*
