Orange County Sanitation District and the Groundwater Replenishment System at the Orange County Water District

Have you ever wondered how clean our tap water is? How does the water in Orange County get sanitized, filtered, and purified? Come join us for a 2-part field trip. We will start out at the Orange County Sanitation District in Fountain Valley and learn about how the water from our homes is sanitized. Then we will head next door to the Orange County Water District to learn about how the water is then further filtered and purified. It is clean enough for us all to take a sip of the water at the end of the process!!!

• All participants must have an RSVP ticket
• 6-9th  graders
• No siblings on this tour – vendor policy
• One parent/guardian per learner
• Day of details will be sent out prior to event
