Join us at McCallum Theatre for Pacifico Dance Company’s spirited and joyful performances celebrate the many regions of Mexico—a country with a colorful history, rich traditions, and diverse cultures. Characteristics unique to each region are reflected in the music, footwork, skirt work, patterning styles, and costuming. Under the artistic direction of founder Adriana Astorga-Gainey, a first-generation American, Pacifico carefully preserves traditional dance forms and creates works that vibrantly fuse folk style with contemporary influences.
