Hawaiian and Polynesian Ho’ike (show) by Kamakani Komohana

Kamakani Komohana (Westwind Productions) will bring you a taste of the Polynesian culture through the art of storytelling, dance, song and live music. You will experience various Polynesian instruments and see the beautiful cultural costumes that are both designed by and constructed by the wonderful kumu (teacher), Auntie Jene’a , as well as the help from the students themselves! You will get a cultural experience of the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, Maori, and Samoa throughout the event as well as being able to participate and be involved in various ways.

You will have access to the Library during and after the performance.
