The International Printing Museum – Tour and Constitutional Convention
December 4 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Constitutional Convention Tour
Who better to arbitrate between students debating one of the great issues at America’s Constitutional Convention than Dr. Benjamin Franklin?
Divided into 13 state delegations, students debate the issues that faced the Founding Fathers: representation, taxation, election and the vexing question of slavery. Reading from cards, students participate in the difficult task of resolving the issues that faced our Founding Fathers, ending with their signing of the Constitution. Following the Convention, students enjoy a tour through the Museum, highlighting the great documents of history and freedom.
This interactive two hour event involves students who can read at the 5th grade level or higher. Adults are welcome to be readers, too! (Younger siblings welcome to attend, but PLEASE, the venue asks that you make other arrangements for toddlers and infants.)
Tickets are $9 and will become available Oct 1 at 10:00am. Funds may be used to purchase learner tickets only. Sibling and parent tickets must be purchased using a credit card.
This field trip is for iLEAD learners and their families only. No refunds available after purchase.
