Go Behind the Scenes at Urbane Cafe!
Visit Urbane Cafe for a delicious day out and a fun, hands-on restaurant experience. Students will get a behind-the-scenes look at how a restaurant operates while learning about food preparation and the business side of running a restaurant.
Explore & Get Hands-On
Students will tour Urbane Cafe’s scratch kitchen, see how food is prepared and stored, help make their signature bread, and even try taking orders at the register.
Learn the Business Side
Students will complete an activity sheet while learning about inventory, ordering, menu items, and what it takes to keep a restaurant running.
Pizza Included!
No one leaves hungry! Each student will receive two slices of Urbane Cafe cheese pizza. Parents are welcome to purchase their own lunch.
Become a Junior Manager!
At the end of the experience, students will receive a Junior Manager certificate and an invitation to return for a free kids meal!
Family Information
A parent or guardian must attend with their child. Siblings may attend but count toward the 30-student limit. Please note that children ages 3 and under cannot attend.
- All grades TK-5 are invited
- All Learners require a ticket to participate
- Attending Sibling require a ticket to participate
- Parents/ Guardian must be present, NOT a drop off event
- One Parent or guardian permitted so learners have access to tickets
- All tickets are final and non-refundable
- Details for the day of will be emailed a few days prior
