About Alesha

Alesha was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a firm believer in experiencing the world through books and stories. She earned her B.A. in English with an emphasis in Writing from Biola University and her Master of Science degree in Education from Mount St. Mary’s University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education from Regent University.

Alesha has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in English and Humanities, and has worked with learners with IEPs. She is passionate about supporting learners and fostering curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.

In her free time, Alesha enjoys coffee, chocolate, and creative projects, as well as spending time with her husband (an animator for The Simpsons) and their children.
