About Allison

Allison Smith is honored to have worked at iLEAD Exploration since 2016. She is deeply passionate about personalized education and is grateful to be part of a program that recognizes and values each learner’s unique learning path. Allison finds great fulfillment in engaging with dedicated parents and students, providing support throughout their independent study journey.

She appreciates that each day presents a new opportunity to help students develop their individual abilities and pursue their passions. In her role as a lead, Allison also has the privilege of mentoring and guiding other Educational Facilitators. She is committed to contributing to a positive school culture by fostering a safe, supportive, and collaborative work environment.

Allison earned her bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach. She began her teaching career in the Inglewood Unified School District and later served in the Buena Park School District. Her dedication to education stems from a firm belief that all children deserve individualized attention and instruction in order to grow, excel, and reach their full potential.

In addition to her professional teaching experience, Allison has had the privilege of educating her own children through homeschooling and independent study. She has guided them on a path of lifelong learning. One of her children graduated from iLEAD and from California State University, Long Beach, and has chosen to follow in Allison’s footsteps by entering the teaching profession. Together, they share a commitment to helping students discover their passions and become lifelong learners.
