Amber was born and raised in Virginia. She studied and obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education at Liberty University. She also completing her master’s degree in administration and supervision.

Amber is very excited to be the director of student support at iLEAD Exploration! She thinks iLEAD has a wonderful team and is very honored to be working alongside some exceptional people. She has worked as a special education teacher in the brick and mortar setting in Virginia with both third and fifth graders and has also coordinated special education services in the charter school setting. She loves working with families to provide an individualized education plan for their exceptional learners. Amber loves the freedom and flexibility that iLEAD’s program allows for families to meet each child’s individual needs.

In Amber’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her goldendoodle, Iggy, hiking, traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures. She most recently spent the summer in South Africa teaching teachers and working on curriculum development for students with special needs.
