About Anna

Anna Liao comes to iLEAD with experience as a classroom teacher and an independent study parent. She got a B.A. in Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College. She continued on to UC Berkeley for a M.A. in Educational Psychology along with a multiple subject teaching credential. She spent seven years in the classroom before having two children of her own. When they reached school age, she decided to make use of the Orange County Department of Education’s independent study program in order to nurture their talents and interests. Now that her children are college graduates, Anna hopes to assist and encourage iLEAD families to build and develop children who grow to become passionate learners.
