Ashley Attaway is thrilled to be part of the iLEAD team. She received her multiple subject teaching credential along with her bachelor’s of science degree in child and adolescent development from Cal State Fullerton. As a college student, she was an instructional assistant for inclusion students with autism. She quickly realized teachers weren’t always equipped to support all learners. Therefore, before starting her career in the classroom, she worked for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes where she became trained in their multi-sensory programs to support all learners. She took these unique skills with her to the classroom where she instilled a love for learning in her students. Ashley taught for six years in public schools where she also supported future teachers as a master teacher, and her colleagues as the teacher trainer for new programs her district implemented.
Ashley put her teaching career on hold when she became a mother. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for about ten years and has two energetic boys, Connor and Colton. She spends her days homeschooling her preschooler while adventuring with her boys outside, and when she has a moment to herself, you will find her lost in her thoughts while riding her horses.
Ashley is excited to support iLEAD families on their homeschooling journey. She is inspired by each family’s commitment to their children’s future and strives to be the best educational facilitator she can be!
