About Crystal

Crystal comes to iLEAD with about 15 years of experience in teaching learners within home study, virtual school, and special education. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she earned a multiple subject teaching credential as well as a master’s degree in special education. Crystal is happily married to her college sweetheart and has two children whom she proudly home schools.

In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking, reading, lifting weights, and traveling places with her family especially going to the beach and camping. She is passionate about healthy living and is involved in medical missionary work. When she is not homeschooling her own children, you can find her teaching a youth class at her church. The most rewarding part of her teaching experience is helping children of all backgrounds and ability levels to discover a true love for learning within themselves!
