About Dominique

Dominique Coumparoules is an educational school counselor on the Student Support Team at iLEAD Exploration. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling and P.P.S. Credential from Azusa Pacific University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. With more than 25 years of experience in education, Dominique has had the privilege of working with learners from transitional kindergarten through college. She is passionate about helping learners recognize their strengths, build confidence, develop resilience, and discover that they are capable of more than they may realize. She especially enjoys watching learners grow in their abilities and become more confident in themselves. Dominique believes in empowering learners to embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward.

Born and raised in Orange County, Dominique lives with her husband, three children, and two rescue dogs. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, learning new things, helping others, and staying active through soccer, tennis, and pickleball. She also enjoys practicing baseball and football with her youngest son and cheering on her children as they participate in soccer, baseball, football, and golf. Dominique hopes to “Be the One” who encourages, supports, and listens to learners while helping them recognize their unique strengths and potential.
