About Jennie

Jennie is an adventurer who loves partnering with families on their homeschooling journey. She believes that learning happens everywhere and enjoys finding the best learning opportunities to fit each learner’s unique passions, abilities, and dreams.

Jennie attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara for her undergraduate degree in sociology. She received her teaching credential from Chapman University and went on to get her master’s degree in teaching. Jennie has a wide variety of education experience that includes the traditional classroom, independent study, alternative education, and homeschooling. She has had the privilege of working with learners in kindergarten through high school.

Jennie has travelled to over twenty different countries and is always dreaming about her next adventure. Seeing the world through travel opened her eyes to the beauty of the people and places of the world. When she is home, she loves to escape into a good book and loves to learn about history. Jennie is an avid photographer, artist, and crafter and she is continually learning new skills to develop her craft. Jennie lives in Tustin with her loving husband, three busy kids, and her crazy but lovable dog, Stella. As a family, they love camping, travelling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and attending sports events.
