About Jennifer

Jennifer has been a California public school educator for over 20 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach. Jennifer taught general education in grades K–3 for the Morongo Unified School District for 13 years before pursuing a career with California independent study charter schools. She is passionate about empowering children and parents who prefer personalized learning outside traditional brick-and-mortar schools. Jennifer feels privileged to support independent study families in providing meaningful education for their children.

As an independent study parent herself, Jennifer has taken on the education of her two children and understands independent study from both a teacher’s and a parent’s perspective. She is excited to be part of the iLEAD community as an Educational Facilitator!
