About Jesssica

Jessica is excited to be a member of the iLEAD Exploration team. She is deeply passionate about encouraging, supporting, and collaborating with families who choose independent study for their children. As an independent-study parent herself, Jessica understands firsthand the many benefits of providing a personalized, home-based education.

Before joining iLEAD, Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State Fullerton, along with a multiple-subject teaching credential. She then spent five years teaching transitional kindergarten and first grade at a private school in Santa Ana. Additionally, Jessica served as an educational coach at another charter school, where she discovered her passion for supporting independent-study families.

Jessica has been happily married to Michael and is a proud mother of four bright, playful, and spirited children who absolutely love story time. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, exercising with friends, and cozying up for plenty of couch snuggles.
