About Myta

Originally from Dallas, Myta discovered her love for Southern California when her family moved here to support her son’s music career. Her son’s unconventional schedule led her to the world of public charter schools, where she found the flexibility and freedom she valued.

With a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials from both California and Texas, and over 18 years of teaching experience in private and public settings—including general and special education—Myta brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping families. This is Myta’s third year with iLEAD.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, photography, playing Animal Crossing, and spending quality time with her husband, three children, and their goldendoodle.

Myta is excited to be part of the iLEAD Exploration team and is committed to supporting families with personalized learning and fostering a love of learning.
