About Natalie

Natalie Quartly comes to iLEAD Exploration with more than 15 years of hands-on experience working throughout the K-12 curriculum. Her love for teaching began to take shape when she became a fourth grade and kindergarten teacher for Newport Mesa Unified School District.

Natalie holds a bachelor of arts degree in liberal studies from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego where she also received her CLAD emphasis and multiple subject credential. Her role as a reading specialist within the Tustin Unified School District fueled her desire to help learners reach their potential.

Throughout her career, Natalie has focused on four fundamental values – that through meaningful lessons all learners can thrive when given explanation, demonstration, experimentation and supervised practice.

Natalie is mom to four amazing children who keep her active and ready for anything. She and her husband, Steve, established Quartly Fine Art more than 22 years ago which has provided for their family throughout the years. Teaching, however, is in every thread of her being and while she took a break from teaching to invest in her family and support her husband’s dreams of becoming a successful artist, she continued to teach in every aspect of her life.

Natalie is thrilled to be working alongside her iLEAD families — supporting them in every step of their homeschool development.
