Lead Educational Facilitator
Rachel Green is a passionate educator who loves working with learners and families of all kinds. Rachel received an undergraduate degree from New York University and received two master’s degrees from UCLA’s Graduate School of Education. She taught for thirteen years in public, charter, and independent schools and holds elementary, secondary English, and administrative credentials.
Rachel is an actress and a composer of educational children’s songs. She won the Music Center’s Bravo Award for Arts in Education in 2011 for her contributions to the arts integrated into the elementary classroom. She also has taught for UCLA’s Cal Teach program to attract undergraduate STEM majors to the teaching profession.
Rachel performs regularly with her theatre group, Arroyo Working Theatre. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dog Thomas in the San Gabriel Mountains. Rachel will never say no to a good meal or an opportunity to travel.
