About Rachel

Rachel Hoggan is a mother of six children and a seasoned educator. After receiving her B.A. in humanities and English teaching from BYU, she began her career as a middle school English teacher and an SAT tutor for high school students. Later, she returned to school to earn her multiple subject credential through coursework at Concordia University Irvine and UCLA extension, and she began teaching and tutoring students in grades K-4. She homeschooled her own children for many years; her favorite part of homeschooling has been reading and discussing great books and learning alongside the children. With a large family, she understands deeply how each child is unique, and she loves the ability to customize education to each student’s needs and learning styles. She is excited to connect with iLEAD families as an educational facilitator and share all her experience as a public school teacher, homeschool parent, and private tutor.
