Sarah is a homeschooling parent of three children who loves making art, good food, excellent books, backyard farming, and playing with math and science. She has experience in large urban schools, a tiny private school, and college administration, working with everyone from early learners to college students and adults. She believes each stage has its challenges and joys, each journey is unique, and each person is capable of learning and growth. Her favorite educational role is as “facilitator,” serving as a support and guide as children and families take the active role in their own educational adventure.
An art student in college, Sarah went on to earn a teaching credential in art and English at Fresno Pacific University, and also completed coursework at the USC Rossier School of Education. She is a native of Bakersfield, spent ten years in Ventura, and now lives in the San Fernando Valley with her kids and husband.
