Thea has been teaching students with unique learning styles for the past twenty years as both a general education teacher in grades K-3 and as an education specialist. Watching her eldest brother excel despite severe learning challenges associated with dyslexia has been a strong motivation for her to learn new ways to help kids realize their potential. She is very excited to join this team of parents and educators on their trailblazing journey in education, where each child is encouraged to bring forth their own special set of skills in a forum more conducive to the environment they live in.
Thea currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband, two boys and two canine fur-children. When not working with children and their families, Thea enjoys reading, watching movies and exploring her new state.
