Vanessa graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor of arts degree in liberal studies and a professional clear multiple subject teaching credential with a cross-cultural language and academic development (CLAD) emphasis. She has worked in education for over 16 years, most of it teaching in the elementary classroom. Ever since she started teaching, she has been passionate in her commitment to maximizing individual learning, inspiring kids’ interests, and instilling a sense of self-confidence among all learners. She earned her certificate in differentiation (GATE) strategies and completed a fellowship with the Cotsen Foundation for the “Art of Teaching”.
Vanessa was born and raised in southern California and feels so fortunate to raise her family here. She is married with three young daughters. Her hobbies include camping with her family, cooking, baking, golfing, and going to the beach! She is so excited to have joined the iLEAD team!
