What if my child doesn’t have an IEP but (as the parent) I think they need one?

The parent and/or the educational facilitator should contact the school psychologist to begin the SST process. Interventions should be tried and data collected regarding the learner’s response to the intervention. The decision to conduct an assessment to determine eligibility for special education and related services is a team decision.
