The SAT is a test that measures knowledge and skills in reading, math, writing, and language. Many colleges and universities look at SAT scores to assist admission decisions. Some even require SAT scores. In order to take the SAT, you will visit www.collegeboard.org to create an account. There you can register to take a test and find a testing location. As always, contact your educational facilitator with any questions or concerns.
There is also one more test date to sign up for the ACT this school year, June 9. The registration deadline for the test is May 4.
The ACT is a test that measures math and English skills. The results are used by the majority of colleges and universities to assist admission decisions. In order to take the ACT, visit www.act.org to register. You can even register for reminder emails if now is not the right time to take the test for your learner.
The website advertises a July date as well, however, it is not offered in California.
