Learner Spotlight: Ryann Wilson

Everybody loves Ryann!

Ryan_Wilson-169x300.pngRyann Wilson is a sixth grader in iLEAD 360 OC’s program. Ryann is the kind of kid every teacher loves to have! She is smart, kind, works well in groups or on her own, and is always ready to participate in class discussion with deep and thoughtful ideas! Ryann has been a homeschooler since kindergarten. She loves that she can focus on learning about the things she is really interested in, like reading and writing, and also enjoys the flexibility she has to spend time with family and friends, and the ability to pursue her other interests, like Krav Maga.

Krav Maga is an Israeli combat system that uses various forms of martial arts. It is a type of self defense that covers everything that might happen on the street, so Ryann feels really prepared when she walks out the door. Ryann loves testing for different belts. It gets harder every time, but that makes the belt worth more. She is currently a brown-red, and has four more to go! Krav Maga is something that is enjoyed by the entire Wilson family. Watch out if you see them coming!
