Labor Day – September 7
Labor Day is observed each year on the first Monday in September to recognize and celebrate the contributions of American workers. It is a time to honor the hard work, dedication, and achievements of workers who help strengthen our communities and our nation. Labor Day also marks the unofficial end of summer and is often celebrated with family, friends, and community gatherings.
Patriot Day – September 11
Patriot Day is observed each year on September 11 to remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. This is a day to honor the victims, recognize the courage of first responders, and reflect on the importance of kindness, unity, service, and helping others in our communities.
