Conquer the CAASPP
This week we want to introduce an important topic—CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) testing. These annual state assessments measure student progress in English Language Arts and math for students in grades 3-8 and 11 and in science for grades 5, 8, and once in high school. The results provide valuable insights for families, educators, and students themselves.
All public school students in California, including those in independent study, participate in CAASPP testing. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about testing schedules, preparation tips, and resources to help students feel confident and ready.
Participation in this assessment is one of the biggest ways you can give back to our school, as the state of California requires all public school programs to assess at least 95 percent of their learners annually under the Every Student Succeeds Act.
