National Poetry Month

April is Poetry Month, a time dedicated to appreciating and exploring the art of poetry. This month-long celebration began in 1996. We celebrate Poetry Month by reading, writing, and sharing poetry. Poetry can take many forms, including sonnets, haikus, and free verse, allowing poets to convey emotions, stories, and ideas in unique ways. We hope that you take some time this month to explore poetry.
