Native American Heritage Month
Native American Heritage Month is a time to honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Native American peoples. Each November, schools, communities, and organizations celebrate this month by organizing events that promote awareness and understanding of Native American traditions. Suggested activities include inviting Native American speakers to share their stories, hosting cultural performances, and conducting workshops that explore traditional arts and crafts.
