FAFSA Deadline

The FAFSA deadline is March 2 for California public colleges. This is for graduates only. The FAFSA is for four-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools. It is necessary for the College Promise Free Tuition Program, CalGrants, and for need-based aid. It can also be necessary for scholarships. You can find more information here.

High School Hike and Hangout

Join other iLEAD High Schoolers at The Trails Cafe on February 28 for a hike at 10:30 a.m. .The hike will last about an hour.
Then we will reconvene for lunch at 11:30 am at The Trails Cafe where there is a lot of outdoor seating. If you don’t want to hike, plan to meet us at 11:30 for lunch and hangout time!
Plan to bring a sack lunch or money to purchase something to eat at Trails Cafe.
Cookies and waters will be provided and you are welcome to bring snacks to share

The National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) sponsors college fairs all over the country and in Canada. These can be slightly overwhelming, but they are definitely worth it. Your freshman year in high school is a great time to attend these.
