Hi-Desert Cultural Center [S]

Hi-Desert Cultural Center, in both Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley, offers courses in the performing and visual arts. We offer 1) a daytime program that is held two partial days/week where students participate in multiple art forms, and 2) group and individual courses in dance, drama, music, visual arts, and chess. For grades 1-3, courses are broad-based. For grades 4-12, courses are by skill level and/or age including music – woodwinds, strings, drums, piano, and brass, electric and acoustic guitar, voice, music writing and recording; drama – beginning and intermediate theater, improv, stage combat; dance – ballet, modern, hip-hop; and visual arts – drawing, painting, photography, ceramics.
