Steps to Register for a College Course

  1. Obtain the special admit/concurrent enrollment paperwork from the college’s admissions office.
  2. Complete the upper portion with learner information and mid-section with course title, code, and class number. Note: Community colleges limit the number of courses taken to 5 units over summer and 11 units during the regular fall/spring terms.
  3. Complete iLEAD Exploration’s “Concurrent Enrollment Information for Learners” form. This only needs to be completed once per learner.
  4. Submit the college’s concurrent enrollment form to your EF.
  5. Your EF will submit this to the high school team for signature and course approval.
  6. Upon approval, the high school team will email the signed copies to the family and cc the EF. Since community colleges are taking online registration, original copies are no longer necessary.
  7. Once received, the learner will follow the online registration instructions provided by the college.
  8. If additional courses need to be requested due to full registration, submit a new college request for signature.
