Backpacks Full of Hope returns to Puerto Rico!
Last year, a group of 19 iLEAD learners and chaperones traveled to Puerto Rico over spring break to assist with relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The devastation to this U.S. territory was so great that this year, 31 iLEAD learners and chaperones will return to Puerto Rico over spring break to continue their efforts! Learners will be replanting much-needed agriculture and building sustainable homes and shelters for those left homeless by the devastating storm.
