There are many ways to use the growth data results to customize your child’s learning. Begin by discussing the results with your EF to determine next steps.
Ways to Use RIT and Lexile Range Scores
- Reading: A Lexile range can be used to find books at your child’s appropriate reading level. Use THIS Lexile website to enter the range and types of books your learner likes to read, and it will populate a list of books at an appropriate reading level for your learner.
- Math: Enter scores (grades 2-12) into the Khan Academy website HERE to receive customized recommendations. Khan Academy is a free, standards-based website that includes thousands of how-to videos to solve all math problems at every level.
- Middle and High Schoolers: Mapping the Road to College is an amazing resource that allows you to filter colleges by a number of different metrics and connects you to colleges that tend to accept learners with the ACT/SAT scores predicted by the MAP score.
- Optional Subscriptions: IXL is available as an optional subscription and provides skill alignments with MAP scores.
