Fabric to Fashion Sewing School, located in Long Beach teaches ages 8-17 how to sew using a sewing machine and create their own clothes from scratch! We work with students who have never sewn before in their life, as well as students who have already started their sewing journey elsewhere! Our main goal is to teach each student how to confidently operate a sewing machine as well as how to read a pattern. This is what leads to independence in their work and the ability to make anything they desire! We build this by focusing on the main principles of sewing technique built into our curriculum and also allowing as much creativity within the structure as possible: fabric, colors, placement, etc.
