History Dragon world history classes-in Capo Beach or online– use imagery, video clips, succinct stories, and memorable themes to bring history to life. The Jr high class features 11 dragons representing time periods from ancient to present day with key events, places, and a unifying theme. The high school modern history class begins with current world events, then looks at the historical roots of western civilization, linking back to today’s issues. We use current and old books, news articles and footage from 1900 to present day, memoirs from survivors of the Nazi holocaust, Russian gulags, Chinese Cultural Revolution, striking quotes from Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Solzhenitsyn and more.
