Students receive private classical piano instruction for either 30, 45 or 60 minutes on a Yamaha C3 grand piano. Initially instruction centers around learning to read notes. Music theory, continued sight reading, listening, technique, music memory and improvisation are all taught along with interesting, enjoyable music. Besides two group lessons and recitals a year, children are invited to participate annually in Certificate of Merit from Music Teachers Association of California and Guild Auditions from the National Guild of piano teachers. Sonatina and Bach Competitions are in house.
