The Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles offers group lessons twice monthly for children who are studying violin and or guitar and use the Suzuki violin and or guitar music books. We provide a positive environment where children find joy in making music together, where they are eager to learn and motivated to practice, and where they reach a high level of competence in the Suzuki repertoire and in other musical genres. These include classical, folk, fiddle, and popular music. Any child may participate in SMPLA activities, regardless of which private teacher they study with, as long as they are learning repertoire found in the Suzuki violin and or guitar books.
