The Writer's Workshop for Kids offers fun online writing classes for grades K-8. My creative, non sectarian online writing classes inspire kids to write from the heart. The live writing workshops are standards-based, and students develop writing skills while having fun along the way. Students learn about writing techniques and literary devices in a variety of classes, from fantasy and mystery to biography and poetry. Language arts classes like Harry Potter, Wings of Fire, and Warriors Cats are inspired by popular book series. Classes for middle graders include: Write a Research Paper and Get Ready for HS. Students receive personal, positive feedback. Delivered via Google Classroom and Zoom.
