Try Surf is an ocean awareness and ocean safety SURF class which is taught at the beach in the shallow part of the shoreline. Through our basic process we familiarize the learners on the parts of a surfboard. We then go over different ocean conditions, weather patterns, swells and tides that effect the waves.
Safety is always priority and we never rush the learners or force them into situations that will make them uncomfortable. We do not paddle outside to the deep areas of the ocean. We only advance the student on their terms and always make sure that they are comfortable. We teach students how to handle a surfboard in the open ocean.
