What is WASC?

The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) is a world-renowned accrediting association. WASC is a voluntary dual-purpose process for schools to demonstrate that they provide high-quality learning and model continual self-improvement.

What does WASC accreditation mean for a school?

A WASC-accredited school is focused on setting a mission and goals for its learners. The school is student-oriented and examines student performance continuously, accepting objective evaluation from a team of outside peer professionals trained by ACS WASC. The school also maintains a qualified faculty within an effectively organized school, and it collaboratively assesses the quality of its educational programs on a regular basis, making plans for the future.
