iLEAD assesses learners using both internal and statewide assessments as summarized in the table below. Testing is one of the BIGGEST ways you can give back to our school, as the state of California requires all public school programs to assess their learners annually. Your child’s participation helps our program stay in good standing with the state, our authorizing district (Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District), our accreditor (WASC), and charter school support networks (CCSA).

CAASPP: Smarter Balanced Assessments for English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics
3rd-8th, 11th Language Arts and Math Spring The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) assessments are statewide summative tests in the areas of language arts, math and science.
CAASPP: California Science Test (CAST) 5th, 8th and one time in high school Science Spring The California Science Test (CAST) is an online assessment based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Physical Fitness Testing (PFT) 5th, 7th, 9th Physical Fitness Spring The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is a comprehensive, health-related physical fitness test for students in California.
