Studies Weekly is an annual newspaper subscription that you can purchase for social studies, science and math! There is also a Health, Heritage, Character and Veterans supplement. Studies Weekly is a great resource for your learner for many reasons!

  • The content covers grade level standards that are specific to California. For example, the Fourth Grade Social Studies Newspaper covers all of the standards for California history, and the Third Grade Science Newspaper covers all strands of science standards for that grade level.
  • When you purchase the print magazine, you gain access to Studies Weekly’s extensive online website that includes digital copies of the newspapers that can be read to your learner, as well as topic videos, games, worksheets, quizzes and more!
  • A teacher’s guide is included for the parent to guide instruction. There are also a variety of supplemental worksheets and projects provided in the guide.
  • The newspapers are engaging and fun for your learner(s) to read!

The cost is $11.90 for each subject. The supplemental subjects could be added with a science, social studies or math subscription for only $1.75. There is a flat $10 shipping fee per learner for the year no matter how many subjects you purchase.

If you would like to purchase a subscription to Studies Weekly, please fill out a materials request form and send it to your EF. Studies Weekly is a terrific product for homeschooling families!
