About Amanda

Amanda is a dynamic and versatile educator who currently thrives as an Educational Facilitator at iLead Exploration. She received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governor’s University (WGU), one of the first universities to pioneer an innovative competency-based learning program.

Her journey in education has been rich and diverse, having taught in various settings, including as an elementary teacher, a middle school math teacher, and then as a math instructor at a government trade school serving 16-24 year olds. Additionally, Amanda’s dedication to making a positive impact led her to work closely with underserved youth, where she championed the importance of personalized and customized education to meet the unique needs of each student. With a strong background in educational technology, curriculum development, and instructional design, Amanda is always at the forefront of creating innovative and engaging learning experiences.

Beyond her passion for teaching, Amanda finds joy in her role as a mother to two wonderful kids and indulges her love for the beach and tropical destinations whenever she can. Her commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning make her an inspiring and influential force in the field of education.
